Schumacher introduces two new ottomans that are versatile in shape and size—Tribeca Ottoman, with its square silhouette, and Chelsea Ottoman, with its cylindrical form. These exquisite pieces are available in either a plain or a mitered and button-tufted top. Clean and modern in appearance, their smaller eighteen-inch size makes them the perfect accessory, when used singly or in pairs to accent a variety of traditional and contemporary settings.

For fall, the color orange is popping up everywhere, from red carpets to runways and interiors alike. The psychology of orange is optimistic and uplifting, even rejuvenating, like the sweet fruit originally brought from China and India.
Historically orange is associated with nobility. In the Netherlands, it is the color of the Dutch Royal Family, dating back to Willem van Oranje (William of Orange). During the Elizabethan Era in England, only the aristocracy was permitted to wear this hue, since the bright color represented an elevated social standing and wealth.
Today, the inviting, autumnal color can be used for chic accents and bright focal points that are inspiring both fashion and interior design. Schumacher offers a stunning variety orange fabrics and wallcoverings for both classic and modern interiors.

Interior designer Kristine Mullaney’s clients Michael & Rob wanted their bedroom in Boston’s South End to be modern and glamorous. The urban loft-like space, which they share with their rescue dog Rosie reflects their chic, work-hard-play-hard lifestyle.
Simple white sheers (Ailey Sheer in White) give the space a soft and ethereal aesthetic, while custom pillows (Shimmer Linen in Silver, Gabrielle Embroidery in Graphite and Rapture in Platinum) enhance the room with sophisticated style. To top it off, the Lorenzo Damask wallcovering papered behind the headboard adds warmth and richness to this stunning boudoir.

Designer Brad Ford spoke to a captive To The Trade audience as part of ADAC’s brand new Design Forward Series. The kick-off discussion was packed for a summer event, since the topic was one that is on every designer’s mind right now: Facebookphobia: Overcoming the Fear of Social Networking and Learning How to use it to make your Design Business More Successful.
The amazing and approachable interior designer writes a very successful blog called Design Therapy. When we asked Brad Ford about his experience in Atlanta, he said: “I’m always excited to visit Atlanta. It’s a beautiful city with real southern charm. Everyone makes me feel right at home, especially the folks at ADAC. I know when I walk into any showroom, I’ll be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. There’s no doubt I’ll find incredible products, but when it’s paired with such hospitality it only makes the experience that much more special.” The feeling is definitely mutual!
